Mr. Joris Jansen is working for more than 10 years as a consultant orthopedic surgeon at the Alrijne Hospital Leiden in The Netherlands. After his training in the Leiden University Medical Center he has subspecialized in knee replacement, and worked as a fellow in 2010 at the University College Hospital London with a special interest in navigated and unicompartmental knee surgery.

Mr. Joris Jansen is a dedicated knee surgeon, and performs total knee replacement, revision knee surgery, osteotomies, meniscus, cartilage and anterior crucioid ligamental (ACL) reconstructions as well. Usually Mr. Jansen has two operative theatre lists every week, and he has operated over 500 unicompartimental knee replacements in total already.

Besides his clinical work he is also active in scientific research, medical education and has a passion for sports (long distance running, biking, skating, soccer, skiing).
